Rev. David D
. Allen is a native of Clarksville, Tennessee, and is 
 to Wanda A. Allen. Together they have five children: Tatyana, Ladaeja, Daeyln, Caniyah and Jeremiah (LJ).  They also have a grandson: Robert (RJ).
He is the son of Deacon Joe L. Allen, Jr. and Mother Nancy Allen.  After accepting his calling, he was licensed and ordained by the Concord Missionary Baptist Church, under the pastorate of Rev. Alvin O. Oldham. 
Pastor Allen has attended American Baptist College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Magna Cum Laude). He has also earned his Masters in Theology (Summa Cum Laude), and his Doctorate Degree in Theology (Summa Cum Laude) from Slidell Baptist Seminary. He has also attended Trinity Bible College, and is a graduate of Clarksville Baptist School of Religion.  Rev Allen is listed in the Who’s Who among students in American Universities & Colleges 1999- 2000. 
Dr. Allen also was the Moderator of the Cumberland River South Kentucky Middle Tennessee Baptist District Association.  Rev. Allen is currently a Clarksville City Councilman representing Ward 8, and has served as one of the executive board members of the Clarksville Department of Electricity. He has also served on the Community Investment Revolving Fund Board (an extension of the Downtown District Partnership).
